Humanities Academy

Dear Incoming FoHA Families,

Welcome to Walter Reed Middle School and the Humanities Academy! We are delighted that you have chosen this excellent program for your child's education and invite you to join our friendly community of parents, teachers and administrators.

The Friends of Humanities Academy, or FOHA, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created in 2007 to support the Humanities Smaller Learning Community at Reed. We've been gaining momentum since then and have successfully raised and distributed significant funds for the benefit of our children. More than just a booster club, however, FOHA assists in communication between families/faculty and provides opportunities to meet other parents at the school through meetings, picnics and social mixers.

Here are some important events to mark on your calendar:
